65-6803. Same; health care data governing boardabolished; appointment of task forces; health care data policies andprocedures.(a) On January 1, 2006, the health caredata governing board is hereby abolished.
(b) The chairperson of the Kansas health policy authority mayappoint atask force or task forces of interested citizensand providers of health care for thepurpose of studying technical issues relating to the collection of healthcare data. At least one member of theKansas health policy authority shall bea member of any task force appointed under this subsection.
(c) The Kansas health policy authorityshall develop policy regarding the collection of health caredata and procedures for ensuring the confidentiality and security of thesedata.
