Article 6a.--MEAT AND POULTRY

      65-6a32.   Storage and handling of meat, poultry andfood products;rules and regulations.The secretary of agriculture may prescribe byrules and regulations the conditions under which carcasses, parts of carcasses,meat and meat food products of livestock and poultry and poultry products,which are capable of use as human food, shall be stored or otherwise handled byany person engaged in the business of buying, selling, freezing, storing,distributing or transporting in or for intrastate commerce such articleswhenever the secretary of agriculture deems suchaction necessary to assure that such articles will not be adulterated ormisbranded when delivered to the consumer. Violation of any such rule andregulation is prohibited.
