Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      68-108.   Place of beginning or true course of road uncertain; resurvey;recordation.When the place of beginning or true course of any road shall beuncertain by reason of the removal of any monument or marked tree by whichthe road was originally designated, or from any other cause, the countycommissioners shall constitute a board of review, or the countycommissioners may appoint three disinterested householders of the county asa board of review, and the commissioners or such other review board mayre-view, re-mark and straighten said road, if they deem it necessary; andafter establishing the place of beginning or true course of the road, theboard of commissioners shall notify the county surveyor, who shall view andre-survey the same, and shall have the same correctly marked, as in thecase of a new road, and shall make a correct return of said survey and aplat of said road; and the same, together with the certificate of thecommissioners or viewers, shall be recorded as in other cases, and fromthenceforth said road, surveyed as aforesaid, shall be considered a publichighway. In resurveying any such road the existing landmarks may besupplemented with such other data, monuments, and witnesses as areavailable.
