68-1053. Designating U.S. highway 169 in Allencounty as Robert V. Talkington highway.That portion of United States highway 169 from the northernboundary of Allen county then south to the southern boundary of Allen county ishereby designated the Robert V. Talkington highway. The secretary oftransportation shall place signs along the highway right-of-way at properintervals to indicate that the highway is the Robert V. Talkington highway,except that such signs shall not be placed until the secretary has receivedsufficient moneys from gifts and donations to reimburse the secretary for thecost of placing such signs.Thesecretary of transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations toaid in obtaining and installing suitable signs.
