      68-1059.   Designation of part of U.S. highway 77 asthe 89th division of the United States Army highway.The portion of United States highway 77 from interstatehighway 70 south on United States highway 77 to the northern boundary of Cowleycounty is hereby designated as the 89th division of the United States Armyhighway.The secretary oftransportation shall place signs along the highway right-of-way at properintervals to indicate that the highway is the 89th division of the UnitedStates Army highway, except that such signs shall not be placed until thesecretaryhas received sufficient moneys from gifts and donations to reimburse thesecretary for the cost of placing such signs and an additional 50% of theinitial cost to defray future maintenance or replacement costs of such signs.The secretary of transportationmay accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining andinstalling suitable signs.
