Article 5.--COUNTY AND TOWNSHIP ROADS

      68-540.   Reports by county engineers or road supervisors.It shall be the duty of the county engineer or road supervisor to make awritten report tothe board of county commissioners of the work accomplished and fundsexpended upon all the roads and bridges for the current year, whichshall close on the thirty-first day of December of each year. Thisreport shall show which roads of the county and township systems havebeen completed or partially completed, and credit to such roads shall beshown upon the county road plan not later thanApril 15,and a copy of the report shall be immediately forwarded to thestate transportation engineer upon standard printed forms.
