      68-542.   Meetings of county and township roadofficials; compensation.The county engineer shall call a one-day meeting of all of the countyand township road officials in each county at least once each year, for thepurpose of discussing any and all matters pertaining to the improvement ofthe highways, bridges and culverts of the county and of the severaltownships, and to devise means of systematizing and standardizing the work.County officials in attending such meetings shall each receive from the countythe samecompensationas specified by law for county work. Township officialsshall be compensated in an amount determined by the township board as providedby K.S.A. 80-207, and amendments thereto.
