72-1908. Transportation of pupils.The board of education of any school district in which acharter school is being operated shall provide transportation to and from theschool for pupils who qualify for free meals under the national school lunchact and who live 2 1/2 or more miles from the school. Nothing in this sectionshall operate in any manner to prevent a board of education from providingtransportation to and from a charter school for all pupils attending theschool.
