Any city, county, charter county, urban-county government, consolidated local <br>government, or special district, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, may display <br>historic artifacts, monuments, symbols, and texts, including but not limited to religious <br>materials, in public buildings and on public property owned by that unit of government if <br>the display is consistent with the requirements of KRS 42.705.
