Page 1 of 1 67.720 Bond of county judge/executive -- Minimum -- Record. The county judge/executive shall execute a bond for the faithful performance of the duties <br>of his office. The bond shall be a minimum of ten thousand dollars (&#36;10,000) with <br>sureties approved by the fiscal court, which shall record the approval of sureties in its <br>minutes. If the fiscal court does not approve sureties under this section within thirty (30) <br>days after the county judge/executive has taken office, the Circuit Judge shall approve the <br>sureties. Premiums on the bond of the county judge/executive shall be paid from county <br>funds appropriated by the fiscal court. The fiscal court shall file a record of the bond with <br>the county clerk.
