74.140 Acceptance of report -- Notice -- Final hearing. When the final report is completed and filed, it shall be examined by the county <br>judge/executive, and if it is found to be sufficient it shall be accepted. If it is not <br>sufficient, it may be referred back to the commission with instructions to secure further <br>information, to be reported at a subsequent date fixed by the county judge/executive. <br>When the report is fully completed and accepted by the county judge/executive, a date not <br>less than twenty (20) days thereafter shall be fixed by the county judge/executive for the <br>final hearing upon the report, and notice of the hearing shall be given by publication <br>pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. During that time, a copy of the report shall be on file in the <br>office of the county clerk, and shall be open to the inspection of any landowner or person <br>interested within the district. Any landowner assessed therein may file exception to the <br>report. The county judge/executive upon final hearing shall confirm or reject the report.
