154.01-700 Definitions for KRS 154.01-700 to 154.01-745. As used in KRS 154.01-700 to 154.01-745, unless the context indicates otherwise: <br>(1) &quot;Allowance&quot; means a twice-monthly payment granted volunteers during the term of their service. For the purposes of KRS 154.01-700 to 154.01-745, an allowance <br>shall not be considered a salary or a wage. (2) &quot;Board&quot; means the Kentucky Peace Corps Governing Board created by KRS 154.01-705. (3) &quot;Community/user&quot; means the nonprofit entity or entities for which a task is being performed by a volunteer or volunteers. (4) &quot;Corps&quot; means Kentucky Peace Corps created by KRS 154.01-715. <br>(5) &quot;Director&quot; means the chief administrative officer of the corps appointed pursuant to the provisions of KRS 154.01-715. (6) &quot;Employee&quot; means &quot;employee&quot; as defined by KRS 18A.005. <br>(7) &quot;Volunteer&quot; means Kentucky Peace Corps volunteers selected pursuant to the provisions of KRS 154.01-710.
