158.010 Uniform school system to be maintained -- Variations. (1) A uniform system of common schools shall be maintained in Kentucky. <br>(2) Local school districts may, with approval of local boards of education, provide special programs and services to one (1) or more areas of the district in contrast to <br>other areas where the variation is a reasonable one based on an attempt to equalize <br>the education progress of the students within the district.
