196.130 University to investigate lands that department wishes to acquire. The University of Kentucky shall, at the request of the Department of Corrections, <br>examine and report on any land which the Department of Corrections wishes to <br>investigate with a view to purchase or lease, so that the Department of Corrections may <br>be fully advised as to the quality and character of the soil, water supply, sanitation, and <br>other agricultural and engineering problems. The university shall be entitled to receive its <br>necessary expenses in connection with the investigation. Effective: July 14, 1992 <br>History: Amended 1992 Ky.
