197.175 Release of prisoners on first day of month of sentence expiration. The commissioner of the Department of Corrections may permit the release of the <br>prisoners on the first day of the month in which their sentences would expire; if the first <br>day of the month falls on Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, the prisoners may be <br>released on the last weekday of the preceding month.
