216.100 Ordinance for bond issue. Any city of the second, third, fourth or fifth class may, by ordinance, borrow money and <br>issue negotiable bonds for the purpose of defraying the cost of purchasing, establishing, <br>erecting and acquiring a municipal hospital and necessary appurtenances thereto. The <br>ordinance shall specify the proposed undertaking, the amount of bonds to be issued, and <br>the maximum rate of interest the bonds are to bear. The ordinance shall further provide <br>that the proposed hospital, with necessary appurtenances thereto, is to be purchased, <br>established, erected or acquired pursuant to the provisions of KRS 216.100 to 216.220.
