§ 5-540. Local boards - Established.
(a) In general.- Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, there shall be at least 1 local board of review for minor children in out-of-home care in each county.
(b) Multicounty local boards.- Instead of a local board in each county, 2 or more counties may agree to establish a single multicounty local board in accordance with a memorandum of understanding executed by the participating counties.
