§ 8-415. General Operation of Unemployment Insurance Administration Fund.
 

(a)  Role of State Treasurer.- The State Treasurer is custodian of the Unemployment Insurance Administration Fund. 

(b)  Deposits and disbursements.-  

(1) Subject to § 8-405(b) of this subtitle, money shall be deposited, administered, and disbursed from the Unemployment Insurance Administration Fund in the same manner as money is deposited and disbursed for other special funds in the custody of the State Treasurer. 

(2) Money in the Unemployment Insurance Administration Fund shall be secured in accordance with § 6-209 of the State Finance and Procurement Article. 

(c)  Access by Secretary.- Money in the Unemployment Insurance Administration Fund shall be available to the Secretary whenever it is needed for payment of expenses under this title. 

(d)  Transfer of money to Special Administrative Expense Fund.- The Secretary may transfer money to the Special Administrative Expense Fund in accordance with § 8-422(e) of this subtitle.
