500.2237 Group disability insurance policy; prohibited restriction of liability.

Sec. 2237.

No policy of insurance issued under the provisions of chapters 34 and 36 of this act, to take effect after June 30, 1962, shall contain any provision restricting the liability of the insurer with respect to expenses, for which payment would be legally required in the absence of insurance, on the ground that such expenses were incurred while the person insured is in a hospital, institution or other facility operated by the state or a political subdivision thereof.
