§ 91-9-3. Assignments of trusts.
 

All grants, assignments, or transfers of any trust or confidence shall likewise be in writing, signed by the party granting or assigning the same, or by last will and testament; or else they shall likewise be utterly void. Such grant or assignment shall also be acknowledged or proved and recorded, and shall only take effect from the time it, or a certificate thereof, is lodged with the clerk for record.
