Repair, maintenance or new construction by state using federal funds,standards--Missouri to hold United States harmless from damages.

8.623. Any repair, maintenance, renovation or newconstruction of any building, facility, or other property of thestate of Missouri undertaken after August 28, 1989, involvingthe use of federal funds or other federal assistance shall,whenever practicable, conform to the standards of sections 8.610to 8.650, and any agency or entity of the state of Missouriauthorizing such repair,* maintenance, renovation or newconstruction may enter into an agreement with the federalgovernment or any agency thereof whereby the state of Missouriwould hold harmless or hold free the government of the UnitedStates from any damages which may result from the repair,maintenance, renovation or new construction.
