Reports of receipts and expenditures required, when, towhom--restrictions on certain expenditures.

21.520. Beginning July 1, 1978, all departments of stategovernment and each government entity operating programs forwhich appropriations are made shall provide the oversightdivision of the committee on legislative research and theappropriations committees of the house and senate with thefollowing information on a monthly basis: Expenditures byaccount number assigned by the office of administration, divisionof accounting, in the chart of accounts and index for fiscal year1979 appropriations and each fiscal year thereafter; federal fundexpenditures by grant and purpose together with the public lawnumber authorizing such expenditures and the grant identifiernumber; notification of termination of any federal grant anddisposition of any employees employed under such grant. In theevent state funds are appropriated for purposes for which afederal grant is anticipated and the grant is not made, suchstate funds may not be used for other purposes. In the eventfederal funds are terminated during federal fiscal year 1979 andeach fiscal year thereafter, state funds appropriated to matchsuch federal funds may not be used for other purposes and thestate funds shall lapse if not used for their designated purpose.
