House bills, how filed--immediate printing--what rules apply.

21.610. A member or member-elect of the house ofrepresentatives may file a bill by mail or in person, accordingto appropriate rules of the house of representatives, with theclerk of the house at any time during the filing period. Uponreceiving a bill filed during the filing period preceding aregular session of the general assembly in odd-numbered years,the clerk of the house shall immediately have the bill printedand made available according to the rules and practices of thegeneral assembly next preceding that for which the bill is filedand those bills received during the filing period preceding aregular session in an even-numbered year shall be printed andmade available according to the then effective rules of thatgeneral assembly.
