Powers of governor-elect relative to budget.

33.260. In any year in which a governor-elect assumes officethe budget shall be the budget of the new governor and shall besubmitted to the general assembly by him. The division of thebudget shall render to the governor-elect all possible assistancein the preparation of the budget. The governor and thedepartments, institutions or agencies of the state shall furnishthe governor-elect estimates and other budget information, inorder that the governor-elect may discharge effectively hisbudget responsibilities upon assuming office.
