Vendor to furnish proof of compliance--misrepresentation of facts,penalty.
34.355. No public agency may authorize, provide for, or makeany payment to any vendor or contractor upon any contract inviolation of section 34.353. At time of bid and before anypublic agency authorizes, provides, or makes payment to anyvendor or contractor upon any contract to which section 34.353 or34.359 applies, the vendor or contractor shall provide proof ofcompliance with section 34.353 and, if applicable, section34.359. Any vendor or contractor who knowingly misrepresents anymaterial fact to the public agency concerning the origin of anymanufactured goods or commodities shall be guilty of a class Amisdemeanor.
