Fees--procedure when one surveyor is absent.

46.030. The fees of the surveyors shall be paid by thecounties respectively; and in case either of the surveyors shallfail to attend, the one in attendance may proceed alone to surveyand mark the line; in which case he shall make two copies orplats of the line or lines he may run, one whereof he shallreturn to the county commission of each county, which, beingapproved of, as aforesaid, shall be recorded in evidence of theline in controversy, and the expenses paid as herein provided.
