Unincorporated town or village--change of name.
71.090. When the plat of any unincorporated town or villageshall be placed upon record in any county of this state, thecircuit court of said county shall have power to change the nameof such unincorporated town or village, upon a petition of amajority of the legal voters residing within the limits of suchtown or village; provided, notice of the proposed change of nameshall be filed in the office of the secretary of state, asprovided in section 71.030.
