Police regulations.
77.570. The council shall enact ordinances to prohibit andsuppress houses of prostitution and other disorderly houses andpractices, and gambling houses and all kinds of publicindecencies, and may prohibit the selling or giving intoxicatingliquors to any minor or habitual drunkard. The council shallalso enact ordinances to restrain and prohibit riots, noises,assaults and battery, petit larceny, disturbances of the peace,disturbances of religious and other lawful assemblies, indecentshows, exhibitions or concerts in any street, house or place inthe city, disorderly assemblies, and to regulate, restrain andprevent the discharge of firearms and the keeping and dischargeof rockets, powder, fireworks or other dangerous combustiblematerials in the streets or in the limits of the city.
