Marshal--powers.

80.400. The marshal appointed by the trustees of theinhabitants of such towns, giving bond and ample security for theperformance of his duties, is hereby authorized to execute ordersand process, arising under the ordinances of said town, and who,within the corporate limits of said town, shall have concurrentpower with the constable of the district, if any, and the sheriffof the county in which said town is situated to execute allorders, notices, writs and other process and duties that may beexecuted by such constable or sheriff, with like effect, andshall receive the same fees therefor.
