82.500. Before entering upon his official duties the citytreasurer shall enter into a good and sufficient bond, approvedby the city comptroller, in the penal sum of three hundredthousand dollars, conditioned upon the faithful performance ofthe duties of his office and the accounting for, according tolaw, of all public funds coming into his hands as such citytreasurer.
