Factors in determining deductions.
86.137. In determining the amount earnable by a member inany payroll period, the board of trustees may consider the rateof annual compensation payable to such member on the first day ofthe payroll period as continuing throughout such payroll periodand it may omit deduction from compensation for any period lessthan a full payroll period if the policeman was not a member onthe first day of the payroll period and to facilitate the makingof the deductions, it may modify the deduction required of anymember by such amount as shall not exceed one-tenth of onepercent of the compensation upon the basis of which suchdeduction was made.
