Expiration of time limit.

88.130. Whenever in any proceeding instituted by any city inthis state for the purchasing, taking or damaging of property forpublic purposes, provision is made in the judgment in saidproceeding for the payment in annual installments of assessmentsof benefits against property for the purchasing, taking ordamaging of property for public purposes, the time within whichexecution may be issued on the judgment assessing any suchbenefits shall not expire until two years after the date uponwhich the last installment shall be due, and default in thepayment of any prior installment shall not shorten the timewithin which such execution may be issued.
