Definitions.
105.500. Unless the context otherwise requires, thefollowing words and phrases mean:
(1) "Appropriate unit" means a unit of employees at anyplant or installation or in a craft or in a function of a publicbody which establishes a clear and identifiable community ofinterest among the employees concerned;
(2) "Exclusive bargaining representative" means anorganization which has been designated or selected by majority ofemployees in an appropriate unit as the representative of suchemployees in such unit for purposes of collective bargaining;
(3) "Public body" means the state of Missouri, or anyofficer, agency, department, bureau, division, board orcommission of the state, or any other political subdivision of orwithin the state.
