Notice of presentation of petition--intervening petition.

108.320. 1. The state, county, township, school district ormunicipality, or the legal representative thereof, shall cause anotice to be published stating the time and place when saidpetition will be presented, which notice shall set forth thegeneral objects and purposes of the petition and shall bepublished in at least two issues of some daily or weeklynewspaper printed and published in the county where the suit isbrought, the last insertion of which shall be not less than threenor more than seven days before the presentation of saidpetition.

2. Any taxpaying citizen may in person or by legalrepresentative file an intervening petition contesting thevalidity of such bonds, and in case an intervening petition isfiled on or before the day set for the presentation of suchpetition, the court shall set a definite time for the hearing ofsaid cause at which time the court shall hear and determine allthe evidence and see all proofs offered concerning the legalityor illegality of such issue.
