Representation of constitutional charter cities under 300,000 onboard--compensation.

138.015. For the purpose of giving cities organized underthe provisions of article VI, section 19, of the constitutionhaving less than three hundred thousand inhabitantsrepresentation on the county board of equalization when the boardis sitting for the purpose of equalizing the assessment ofproperty in such cities the cities shall have the same number ofrepresentatives thereon as such city was entitled to prior to theadoption of such constitutional charter. The representatives ofthe cities shall be appointed by the council, one of whom may bethe director of finance. The city council may prescribe thecompensation the city members of the board of equalization shallreceive from the city treasury.
