Earthquake emergency system to be established for certain schooldistricts.
160.451. The governing body of each school district whichcan be expected to experience an intensity of ground shakingequivalent to a Modified Mercalli of VII or above from anearthquake occurring along the New Madrid Fault with a potentialmagnitude of 7.6 on the Richter Scale shall establish anearthquake emergency procedure system in every school buildingunder its jurisdiction. The governing body of each schooldistrict shall request assistance from the state emergencymanagement agency and any local emergency management agencylocated within its district boundaries to develop and establishthe earthquake emergency procedure system.
