Forced closing of school--state aid based on prior year'sattendance.

163.051. The state board of education, in the apportionment of the stateschool moneys fund, may use the average daily attendance of the next full yearpreceding or project the average daily attendance for the current year basedon the average daily attendance for the last fifty days the schools of thedistrict were in session before the schools were forced to close before theexpiration of the term or before average daily attendance droppedsubstantially because of a disaster caused by flood, fire, windstorm or anynatural disaster when all or part of the district is designated a disasterarea by the governor of the state, or when districts have been forced to closebecause of nonpayment of taxes as a result of flooding or drought conditionsor because of loss of surplus funds occasioned by bank failures in any countyof the state.
