Seventh and eighth grade pupils may be sent to anotherdistrict--tuition, how paid.

171.131. The board of education of any elementary schooldistrict may elect to maintain an elementary school in thedistrict for grades one through six only. In that event tuitionshall be paid by the sending district as provided in section167.131, RSMo, for pupils in grades nine through twelve. Pupilsin grades seven and eight shall have the option of attending anyapproved school in the county of residence or in an adjoiningcounty.
