174.270. 1. The two year senior colleges provided for insections 174.230 to 174.270 shall be subject to all theprovisions of sections 174.010 to 174.220 not in conflict withsections 174.230 to 174.270.
2. Effective upon the establishment of a district providedfor in sections 174.230 to 174.270, all territory within thatdistrict which, prior to the establishment, was contained inanother state college district, shall automatically cease to be apart of the former state college district.
3. Other provisions of law notwithstanding, any member of aboard of regents of a preexisting state college who resides in adistrict newly created under the provisions of sections 174.230to 174.270 may continue to serve as a member of that board ofregents for the remainder of the term for which he was appointed.
