Change of address, duty of lender or claimant to notifymuseum--written agreement between lender and museum to prevail.

184.121. 1. The lender or claimant of property on loan toa museum shall notify the museum of a change of address or changein ownership of the property. Failure to notify the museum ofthese changes may result in the lender's or claimant's loss ofrights in the property.

2. The lender or claimant of property on loan to a museummay file with the museum a notice of intent to preserve aninterest in the property as provided for in section 184.114. Thefiling of a notice of intent to preserve an interest in propertyon loan to a museum does not validate or make enforceable anyclaim which would be extinguished under the terms of a writtenagreement, or which would otherwise be invalid or unenforceable.
