Ambulance district serving city in more than one county may beexpanded--procedure (Franklin County).

190.087. The boundaries of any ambulance districtestablished pursuant to chapter 190, which is located in anoncharter county of the first classification with a populationof less than one hundred thousand which adjoins any county of thefirst classification with a charter form of government with apopulation of nine hundred thousand or more inhabitants, if suchambulance district serves any portion of a city which is locatedin both such counties, may be expanded so as to include theentire city within the ambulance district, but the boundaries ofthe district shall not be expanded beyond the city limits of suchcity. Such change in the boundaries of the district shall beaccomplished only if seventy-five percent of the owners of anyterritory or tract of land within that part of the city which isnot within the ambulance district file with the board a petitionin writing praying that such real property be included within thedistrict. The petition shall describe the property to beincluded in the district and shall describe the property owned bythe petitioners and shall be deemed to give assent of thepetitioners to the inclusion in the district of the propertydescribed in the petition; and such petition shall be insubstantially the form set forth in section 321.495, RSMo,dealing with referendums and verified in like manner.
