Accessory to mistreatment of inmates or furnishing of unwholesomefood--penalty.

191.190. If any person or employee of any institution underthe control of the department of social services shall be witnessor shall in any other manner have knowledge of any violation ofthe provisions of sections 191.170 and 191.180, and shall fail toforthwith communicate such fact or facts to the superintendent ofthe institution or to the director of the department of socialservices, he or she shall be deemed an accessory to such act andviolation, and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine ofnot less than five dollars nor more than one hundred dollars.Any person convicted of a violation of this or of section 191.170or 191.180 shall be disqualified for holding any position for aperiod of one year in any institution in this state under thecontrol of the state government.
