Abandonment of a corpse without notifying authorities, penalty.
194.425. 1. A person commits the crime of abandonment of a corpse ifthat person abandons, disposes, deserts or leaves a corpse without properlyreporting the location of the body to the proper law enforcement officialsin that county.
2. Abandonment of a corpse is a class D felony.
