Alzheimer's facilities, informational documents required--divisionof aging, duties--licensing department, verification.
198.515. Any facility which offers to provide or provides care forpersons with Alzheimer's disease by means of an Alzheimer's special careunit or Alzheimer's special care program shall be required to provide aninformational document developed by or approved by the division of aging.The document shall include but is not limited to updated information onselecting an Alzheimer's special care unit or Alzheimer's special careprogram. The document shall be given to any person seeking informationabout or placement in an Alzheimer's special care unit or Alzheimer'sspecial care program. The distribution of this document shall be verifiedby the licensing department as part of the facility's regular licenserenewal procedure.
