Juvenile court commissioner, appointment, where, term, compensation.

211.023. In each county of the first class having a charterform of government, except those counties having a family courtas provided in sections 487.010 to 487.190, RSMo, a majority ofthe circuit judges, en banc, may appoint one or two persons whoshall have the same qualifications as a circuit judge to act ascommissioners. The commissioners shall be appointed for a termof four years. The compensation of a commissioner shall be thesame as set by law for associate circuit judges of the county forwhich they are appointed, payable by the state, and thecommissioners shall devote full time to such duties.
