Coroner to be jailer, when.
221.030. The sheriff may be imprisoned in the jail of hisown county; and for the time that he shall be confined, thecoroner shall have the custody, rule, keeping and charge of thesaid jail, and shall, by himself and his sureties, be answerablefor the faithful discharge of his duties in that office.
