226.136. On or after June 30, 1996, any person, firm,corporation or other entity doing business in the state ofMissouri that has within the year of issuance and the twocalendar years prior to the issuance of any bonds pursuant tosections 226.900 to 226.910 and sections 226.133 to 226.136 madecampaign contributions as defined in chapter 130, RSMo, in theaggregate in excess of one thousand dollars to any statewideelected official or any member of the general assembly shall notserve as financial underwriter, financial advisor, or investmentadvisor to any bonds issued pursuant to the authority granted insections 226.900 to 226.910 and sections 226.133 to 226.136.
