Unlicensed junkyard--penalty.

226.710. Any person establishing, operating, or maintainingan unlicensed junkyard in violation of sections 226.650 to226.720 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall bepunished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars. Anyperson violating the provisions of sections 226.650 to 226.720shall have sixty days to correct the violation after propernotification. For the purposes of this section notification isdeemed to be given when written notice, specifying the violationalleged, has been deposited in the United States registered mail,postage prepaid. Each day a junkyard is unlawfully maintainedconstitutes a separate offense.
