Portion of tax set aside for incorporated road districts--specialprovisions in certain counties (Clay and Platte counties).

233.195. 1. County commissions shall cause to be set asideand placed to the credit of each road district so incorporatedfour-fifths of such part or portion of the tax arising from andcollected and paid upon any property lying and being within anysuch district, by authority of section 137.555, RSMo. Allrevenue so set aside and placed to the credit of any suchincorporated district shall be used by the commissioners thereoffor constructing, repairing and maintaining bridges and culvertswithin the district, and working, repairing, maintaining anddragging public roads within the district and paying legitimateadministrative expenses of the district, and for such otherpurposes as may be authorized by law.

2. In any county of the first class not having a charterform of government or of the second or third class containing allor part of a city having a population of three hundred fiftythousand or more, the revenue set aside and credited to a roaddistrict as provided in subsection 1 may, with the consent of thecity, be expended within any incorporated city, town or villagelocated within the district.
