Tracts of land regarded within same distance as major portion.

233.220. In road districts so incorporated, each tract ofland of forty acres, according to a government survey, and eachof the smallest subdivisions of land that has been lawfullyplatted and each separate tract of less than forty acres, shall,for the purposes of this section, be regarded as within one-halfmile of any public road or part of a public road, if the majorportion thereof is within one-half mile; and over one-half mileand less than a mile, if the major portion thereof is overone-half mile and less than a mile; and over one mile and lessthan one and one-half miles, if the major portion thereof is overone mile and less than one and one-half miles; and over one andone-half miles if the major portion thereof is over one andone-half miles.
